McBruce's District 19 Regional Daily Bulletins

Two pdf versions of each Daily Bulletin will be posted here: one for viewing on screen, and another for printing.  If you try to view the print version, or print the view version, you will get pages out of order.  To print you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader and a printer loaded with legal-sized paper (8½ by 14 inches).  To view you need only Adobe Acrobat Reader.  If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, go here for the free download.  You'll need this program to read and print the files.  (Most will find it already installed on their system -- there are versions for Windows and Mac and other operating systems.)

The left hand date column will turn green when an edition is ready for download.  (If you try a link when it's red, get ready for an error message...)  The background colour in the last two columns show the colour of paper used for the cover.  If you want to print a good facsimile, get some legal sized paper of that colour for the cover sheet.  Online issues, containing Sunday results and photos, and final masterpoint leaders, should be ready Monday morning, or possibly earlier.  I try to get the results up before they appear on the ACBL site...

I do keep all of the photos I have taken for Daily Bulletins and I would be glad to send you a copy of those I have taken before May 2008.  (For photos taken since then, see the next paragraph.)  Just send me an e-mail listing the photos you want, by Daily Bulletin issue, date, page number, and subject.  I usually get around to the photos 3-5 days after the tournament ends (when I have caught up on my sleep!)

Photos now available online! Since May 2008, photos taken by McBruce at bridge events are available online, at London Drugs Photo Station.  This link will get you to the photos page, where you can view photos, download them to your computer, and even order copies of them for pickup at any London Drugs in Canada, in a variety of sizes and styles, from lasting photo-quality paper to T-shirts and other gift items.  No sign up or registration is necessary.  Players outside of Canada or too far away from a London Drugs photo outlet can point their local photoshop at the above link and have them download and print the photos wanted.

There is also a new page with information about the photos online, so you can see what's been recently added.

The Print-On-My-Printer versions contain two files, one with the cover (to be printed on coloured letter-sized paper), and one with the central booklet (to be printed on white legal-sized paper).  If you only want to view the Daily Bulletins on screen, there's only one file to look at.

In Reno, the year-end schedule means we have four full-sized bulletins: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday; plus a welcoming sheet on Wednesday, and a posted-only bulletin on Thursday: four copies in large print will be posted in the playing area.  (Most of the Thursday material will be repeated in Friday's issue.)  You can view all of these online when they are ready.
